Ellen Barkin has admitted that she thinks non-invasive cosmetic procedures are perfectly fine (with the exception of Botox, which she is against). And I totally applaud Ellen for being against face lifts, implants, etc, but her over plumped trout pout just looks strange on a women of 56.

There comes a time when a woman needs to stop trying so hard to be sexy. And if you’re old enough to be a grandmother, I think that is a pretty good gauge as to when you should hang up the porno pout.

Aside from the lips, I think Ellen Barkin has a pretty good grip on aging gracefully in Hollywood. When asked about the plastic surgery trend that has become so prominent in this day and age, Barkin said:

“I think it’s dangerous. Women who have had major surgery are sending out the signal saying, ‘I’m not happy with where I am, so I want to be somewhere else – I want to be like I was at 30′“.

It will be interesting to see if Ellen can stick to her guns and resist the Hollywood temptation of plastic “perfection”
