Tales of celebrity plastic surgery…

Brigitte Nielsen was an extemely hot model/actress in the 80’s, and she just can’t seem to accept that her glory days are over. She has appears on numerous reality shows that feature washed up celebrities, including “The Surreal Life”, “The Mole”, “Strange Love”, “Celebrity Big Brother” and “Celebrity Rehab”.

Now, Brigitte Nielson is starring in her own reality show titled, “From Old to New: Brigitte Nielsen in the Celebrity Clinic”. On here new show, Brigitte will undergo a facelift, eyelift, breast lift, liposuction, breast reduction and additional cosmetic surgeries in a desperate attempt to turn back time.

Here are Brigitte’s thoughts and reasoning behind her plastic surgery makeover:

“I know I am the first female celebrity in the world who has allowed herself to be filmed like that in an operating theatre…I know I will be breaking a taboo. But I’m sure that it will provoke a new discussion. It’s time things change. I feel 30 and want to look that way again…The secrecy in Hollywood is annoying,” Brigitte said. “You can see that the stars do not age naturally. It’s not right that the fans, the normal women, are lied to….I’m getting a complete renewal: facelift, eyelift, fat injections in my face, liposuction, a breast lift and I need new teeth.“

It will be interesting to see how she looks after all of the plastic surgeries she is undergoing. Her goal is to pose for Playboy again, although at 44 I don’t really have any interest in see Brigitte Nielson naked, no matter how much plastic surgery she has done.

Courtney Love had her breast implants removed in 2002 and decided to take them home as a souvenir. Shortly thereafter, her beloved Pomeranian ate one of the breast implants and died.

Courtney was unsure if the dog choked on the breast implant, or if it died from ingesting the contents of the implant. Courtney had no idea what the implants where made of because, as she put it, “they were bootleg implants from Mexico.”

Earlier this year, rumors were rampant that Amy Winehouse had gotten breast implants. For weeks she was spotted with gargantuan boobs hanging out of her low cut tops. Many wondered if Amy had gotten implants of if was she wearing a padded bra?

Apparently Amy got sick of the huge boobs and has since ditched the padded bra. Luckly for her, she didn’t opt to get breast implants. It’s much easier to get rid of a padded bra then to get rid of surgically implanted silicon!

Cindy Jackson has been call the original “Extreme Makeover” and has become somewhat famous for completely changing her looks with plastic surgery.

In the late 80’s Cindy Jackson received an inheritance and decided to have plastic surgery. Since then, she has had 9 cosmetic surgeries (with many of those surgeries having more then one procedure done at a time) and has had the following cosmetic procedures: Nose jobs, eye lifts, cheek implants, lip augmentation, cosmetic dentistry, chin reduction, jaw reshaping, facelifts, breast implants, removal of breast implants, fat transfers, liposuction, soft tissue filler injections, laser treatments, dermabrasion, chemical peels and much more.

It sounds like Cindy Jackson has a text book case of plastic surgery addiction, but surprisingly, she doesn’t look too over done.

For someone whom has had such extreme plastic surgery, I think her plastic surgeon did a wonderful job. Cindy Jackson’s plastic surgeon is Dr. E. Latimer-Sayer and he does consultations in London and Southampton. It looks like he currently works at Highgate Hospital.

Last year it was widely publicized that porn queen, Jenna Jameson, was retiring from porn and was having her breast implants removed. What she failed to mention was that while she was indeed having her implants removed, she was also replacing them with smaller implants. Right around the same time, Jenna started receiving injectable fillers in her lips to plump them.

I think the smaller breast implants look much better, but I think Jenna went overboard with the lip injections. Her top lip is too big and overinflated.

Jenna Jameson is no stranger to plastic surgery and she also underwent vaginoplasty, which she was unhappy with.

Katie Price, aka Jordan, recently had her 32G breast implants reduced to a 32F.

Unfortunately Katie still feels that her breasts are too big and has already scheduled a visit to America to have her 5th breast augmentation surgery.

Did she really think that reducing her breast implants to a F-cup would really make a noticeable difference?!

It has been rumored that Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham has had her breast implants removed in order to avoid a possible wardrobe malfunction during the Spice Girls reunion tour. I thought that the implant removal rumor was pretty far fetched since all of the costumes are custom fit and there are plenty of precautions to take to make sure your boobs dont fall out in public, BUT after I saw the following photos…Well, what do you think?

 It appears that Victoria Beckham has quite a bit of fleshy overhang hanging out of the side of her corset in the 2nd photo. A bit of fat hanging out of a too-tight corset is not too uncommon, but Posh has no fat. When breast implants are removed, it’s common to have saggy skin, tissue atrophy and chest wall deformity, unless you opt to have corrective surgery (such as a breast lift, or new implants).

Donda West, Kanye West’s mom, died dued to complication of undergoing cosmetic surgery. Donda had two cosmetic surgeries (tummy tuck and breast reduction) performed at the same time, and died at her home two days later. Kanye West’s mother was 58 years old when she died.

The surgery that caused Donda West’s death was performed by Dr. Jan Adams, who was later revealed to not be a board certified plastic surgeon.

Remember, simply because a procedure is “cosmetic”, doesn’t make it safe. Most cosmetic surgeries are considered major surgery. Would you get heart surgery if it wasn’t necessary? Would you want someone that you love to risk death to make their breasts somewhat perkier for a few more years? Or, do you love them as they are? Nowadays, plastic surgeons try to upsell additional procedures to clients to make an extra few bucks. Going in for a breast augmentation? Well, how about we suck a little fat out of your waist too. What they fail to tell you is that multiple cosmetic procedures, performed at the same time, significantly increases your chance of complications and death. There is a 1 in 3200 chance that patients that undergo multiple cometic procedures will die. Is it really worth it?
